Thrive is a national charity whose mission is to research, educate and promote the use and advantages of gardening for people with a disability.

Thrive is the only national charity of its kind working to bring change to the lives of disabled people through gardening. This is done by:
  • Offering practical advice and inspiration to any disabled person who wants to begin or continue gardening.
  • Supporting, through a variety of specialist courses, hundreds of health and education professionals around the country who use gardening with disabled people.
  • Carrying out research into how and why gardening helps people with disabilities.
  • Running gardening programmes for disabled people of all ages at our gardens in Reading and London.

There are many people who would benefit from Thrive's help. If you want to know more, or help Thrive continue its work through donation, please contact us.

Registered charity number: 277570
