Herts and Essex Society for Smallholders and Gardeners

Opportunity for people with an interest in smallholdings and Gardening to meet and share ideas and socialise.

The monthly meetings include a speaker. Previous discussions have included:

Talk by a vet, pest control, rare breed poultry, alpacas, fruit tree pruning, cheese making, cooking with honey, compost making, home made wine making, gamekeeping, basket making, RSPB, animal feeds, poisonous plants.

Venue: Normally Ugley Village Hall, occassionally outside visits arranged.

Meeting times: 2nd Wednesday of every month from 8.00pm-10.00pm.

Annual Membership fees are: Family £12.00; Single £7.50.

Publications: 'Link Up' quarterly magazine.
