The society administers allotments at nine sites for Harpenden Town Council and offers '5-pole' plots (i.e. 150 square yards) to local residents (AL5 postcode only) at an annual rent.

The society runs a shop offering a full range of gardening requisites at discount prics for the benefit of members (plot holders) and associate membership is available for those not wanting a plot, but who would like to use the shop.

The shop is open on Sundays from 10.00am-12.00noon throughout the year, and Friday evenings during the summer, from 6.30pm-7.30pm.

The Shop and Committee Room are situated in Dark Lane, Harpenden, AL5 1QA.
