Moorhen Model Boat Club (Harlow)

The club meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm at the Maypole Club, Old London Road, Harlow, Essex. They sail at the Moorhen Marina, Burnt Mill Lane, Harlow, according to the annual regatta list.

The club run regular regattas such as scale steering and tug towing.

Members come from around the area, from Bishops Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Grants Hill, Harlow, Ilford and Stansted.

Members of all ages can take part in the activities, family membership is particularly welcome.

Members model and sail many types of models, including scale warships, tugs, fishing boats, yachts and submarines, using electric motors, steam and wind power.

There is also a restaurant, cafe, pub and childrens play area at the marina.

All sailing members must join the MPBA.
