Letchworth Model Areonautical Society exists to promote the hobby of building and flying model aircraft.
It has two flying sites within Letchworth Garden City, one for gliders at Wilbury Farm and the other for powered models at Letchworth Rugby Club.
Flying is permitted at all times, but Sunday afternoons at the Rugby Club (rugby matches permitting) and Sunday mornings at Wilbury Farm are the main meeting times at which experienced members are available to help newcomers to get started.
Potential model flyers are encouraged to come along and find out more before committing themselves to an expensive purchase.
