RAeS Hatfield Branch welcomes aerospace enthusiasts (engineers, students, aviation enthusiasts and professionals) of all ages. It holds an annual series of lectures, talks, films and visits.

Meetings are held at the University of Hertfordshire and are usually on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (excluding June, July and August) and non-member visitors are always welcome.

Formed in 1939, the branch was centred on Hatfield British Aerospace sites and has connections with the de Havilland, Hawker Siddeley, BAe and Raytheon aircraft companies. the branch now has strong connections with the University of Hertfordshire.
