Private museum. Free admission.
Last used as a Blacksmith's Shop in 1953, the leather bellows are still intact and form the main feature of the Museum. The artefacts are displayed in glass fronted wall cabinets as well as a splendid cabinet containing many interesting photographs, newspapers and documents.
The bulk of the collection being from the earliest part of this century up to and including the last World War is from village residents. Whilst there are obviously some gaps, the museum aims to preserve those items from the more recent past along with pre-historic, Roman and Medieval 'finds' to enable visitors to see how their predecessors lived and worked.
