* Permanent displays show a timeline of Ware' Social, Industrial and Archaeological History from pre-historic times to the Second World War.
* Following a Heritage Lottery Fund grant the museum has been enlarged and includes new displys on malting and a Hitch Brick 'window'. Part of the coverlet of the Great Bed of Ware is on Display.
* The Medieaval Well discovered within the museum grounds is now incorporated in the new gallery, come and walk on it.
* The World War Two Bunker houses an interactive area where schools can learn about the Blitz and the 'joys' of being evacuess.
* There are new and growing interactive experiences including an Archeological Dig for children.
* Future additions will identify historic sights in Ware with a push button illuminated Satellite Picture, a Touch Screen Kiosk and Talking Histroric Figures.
* Herb garden.
* There is a regular, changing programme of temporary exhibitions throughout the year and children's activities during the school holidays. See the website for details.

* The museum houses a Tourist Information Point.
Cost: Entrance is free but they ask for a donation from adult visitors.
