This museum was once the private collection of Lionel Walter, 2nd Baron Rothschild, and is now part of The Natural History Museum. It houses more than 4000 mounted specimens of animals in a unique Victorian setting.

Facilities: zebra cafe, gift shop, picnic areas, discovery room, temporary exhibitions, events, functions, parties.

Cost: admission is free.

Opening times:
Museum:
* Monday-Saturday 10.00am-5.00pm;
* Sunday 2.00pm-5.00pm.
Shop:
* Monday-Saturday 10.00am-5.00pm;
* Sunday 2.00pm-5.00pm.
Zebra Cafe:
* Monday-Saturday 10.30am-5.00pm;
* Sunday 2.00pm-5.00pm.

Access: Wheelchair access is limited to Gallery 1, temporary exhibition room, the shop and cafe only at present. There is a vitural tour of the upper galleries in the temporary exhibition room.

Functions: The Museum Galleries can be hired in the evenings for functions and private parties. Please ask for an information pack.

Children's Parties: Please ask for an information pack.

Closed: 24th-26th December inclusive.
