A permanent working exhibition of mainly mechanical musical instruments including large organs by Mortier, Decap and Bursens together with reproducing pianos by Steinway, Welte and Weber. Two theatre pipe organs by Wurlitzer and Rutt.
The Mills Violano-Virtuoso, a self-playing violin with piano accompaniment.
A selection of Musical Boxes from the 1880's and Victorian hand turned table organettes.
The 10 rank Wurlitzer with Grand Piano attachment and the unique 6 rank 3 manual Spurden-Rutt theatre pipe organs are also demonstrated.
Admission (2008):
Adults £4.50; Children £2.50; Family Ticket £10.00; Concessions (OAP's, etc) £3.50.
Theatre Organ Concerts on the two theatre pipe organs are given on a monthly (approximately) basis on a Saturday evening by leading organists demonstrating the use of these instruments. Seat booking is recommended.
The theatre is at 320 Camp Road, St Albans, AL1 5PE (next to Camp School).
The theatre is administered by the St Albans Musical Museum Society, a registered charity trust.
Current membership of the society is £5.00 per year.

Opening Hours: Every Sunday 2.00pm-4.30pm (except Christmas Day).
