A preserved narrow gauge railway dating from 1919, run entirely by volunteers and now home to over 50 locomotives (including 13 steam locos from Belgium, Cameroon, India, Portugal, Spain and Britain).

Journey time is 70 minutes for the return trip through varied scenery into the Bedfordshire countryside.

The railway is open from 10.40am on Sundays and Bank Holiday weekends from mid-March to late-October plus extra days in June, July and school holidays. Venue: Page's Park Station, Billington Road, Leighton Buzzard.

Discounts are available for groups of ten or more.
Santa Specials operate in December.

There is a Picnic area, free parking, souvenir shop and cafe.

Directions: from A505/A4146 bypass, follow signs to 'Narrow Gauge Railway'.

Accessibility: Reserved Parking spaces and disabled toilet at Pages Park Station. Ramp access to most buildings. Special coaches adaptable for wheelchair passengers.
