Hertfordshire Museums (Partnership)

The Partnership promotes the interests of museums and galleries within Hertfordshire.

With this objective the Partnership works:

* to strengthen and promote partnership between the County and District Authorities and the independent sector in Hertfordshire;
* to represent the interests of museums in Hertfordshire to bodies within and outside the County;
* to promote quality in museums in Hertfordshire and to foster improved standards in the organisation and management of museums;
* to promote and support museum development in Hertfordshire that is innovative, viable and strategic;
* to advise constituent organisations;
* to act as a forum for debate and exchange of information on issues of concern to museums within the county;
* to promote communication between museums and local authorities.
