There is a permanent display on the history of the town from Roman times to the present. There is a temporary display (ends May 2008) called 'The Archaeology of the Baldock Bypass' explaining the discoveries made along the route including part of the site of a medieval leper hospital. The centrepiece of the display is the horn of an aurocks and huge prehistoric ox.
From May 2008 there will be a display on the Kayser Bondor Factory in Baldock showing some of the Museum's collection of products and ephemara. It will explain why the factory was built and how it became the centre of a worldwide company, the largest manufacturer of hosiery and lingerie in the Commonwealth and Europe.
