Housed in an original building on this historic airfield, the collection of artefacts assembled will transport you back in time to the Second World War.
The 306th Bomb Group are commemorated by a large collection of memorabilia, including a 1942 Jeep, a G.I Bride scene and a small Chapel area containing a book of remembrance. The many displays are enhanced by a large collection of period photographs.
R.A.F 160 Squadron and 18 Operational Training Unit have displays. There is an area dedicated to the Home Front including the Home Guard, A.R.P and the War in the Countryside. The 1940's home is next door to the village pub. Wartime sights and sounds both visual and audio recapture the atmosphere of those times.
