* A royal hunting lodge at the time of Henry III and a royal palace between the reigns of Edward I and Henry IV;
* A Dominican friary from Edward II to the Dissolution;
* A 14-15th century church containing the tomb of Edmund, son of Edward III, First Duke of York;
* A succession of mills from Norman times to the 20th Century;
* The manufacture of world famous Ovaltine, from its creation until 2002;
* A wealth of transport history - a Roman road, a turnpike, the M25, the Grand Union Canal, the Stephensons' Railway to Birmingham and beyond.
Venue: Kings Langley Library.
Date of AGM: March.
