The Historical Association aims to promote history in its widest sense. It offers publications, lectures and courses for specialists and teachers. The local lectures are open to members of the general public.
Upon joining the national Organisation, a member automatically becomes a member of the local branch.
Venue: Meets at the Backhouse Room, Handside Lane, Welwyn Garden City. Lectures begin at 3.00pm, unless otherwise stated.

* Other journals at a discount (History, Teaching History, Annual Bulletin of Historical Literature);

* Visits to historic sites.
