Bovingdon History Group
Day/Time of meetings: Usually the third Thursday of the month at 8.00pm.
The Group was formed in 1993, and meets in Bovingdon Library regularly once a month. During the summer months it also arranges visits and outings on an occasional basis.
A programme of interesting talks by both outside speakers and members of the group is arranged.
Historical booklets on Bovingdon airfield & Bovingdon Church have been published. 'Bovingdon - History of a Hertfordshire Village' was published in March 2002. Copies are available at £9.99 plus p&p from the Parish Clerk, Bovingdon Memorial Hall, Phone: 01442 833036.
If you are interested in joining the group, membership forms and details are available from the Library, High Street, Bovingdon, or attend any meeting.
