The Watford and District Association was formed in 1980 and is a lively and friendly group of National Trust members drawn together with the common aims of:
* fostering an appreciation of the purposes of the National Trust;
* actively supporting the work of the Trust through voluntary society;
* recruiting new members to the Trust;
* raising funds for appeals, both local and national;
* creating friendship between members and jointly increasing the mutual enjoyment of Trust affairs.
Meetings are held throughout the year at 8.00pm on the 1st Thursday of the month at the Stanborough Centre, St Albans Road, Garston.
Outings by coach are also arranged mostly during the period April to October to places of interest in general and National Trust properties in particular.
