The society exists to further the study of archaeology and history in the South West Herts area. Lectures are held from October to April, and excursions can take place during the Summer months.

17th January: Gil Burleigh - Romano-British Site at Ashwell, North Herts;
21st February: Heather Falvey - Cardinal Wolsey's Lost Palace in Rickmansworth;
21st March: Brian O'Riordan - Watford's Grade I listed;
18th April: Dr Richard Hobbs - Our Precious Past: Treasure finds from England and Wales.
Publications: Newsletter published twice yearly and Bulletin published occasionally.
