The society exists to further the study of archaeology and history in the South West Herts area. Lectures are held from October to April, and excursions can take place during the Summer months.

21st January: Martin Welsh - Anglo-saxon death and burial;
18th February: Jill Penwarden - History of Kings Langley;
18th March: Kate Thomson - New Poor Law;
1558th April: Julian Watters - Portable Antiques Scheme.

Publications: Newsletter published twice yearly.
