Berkhamsted / Tring Stroke Support Group

Meetings are held in Northchurch Social Centre, Bell Lane, Northchurch, fortnightly on Tuesdays 10.15am-1.30pm (including lunch). We provide mental and phycical exercises in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
If carers want a break they can have a little time to themselves, or they are welcome to come along and join us at the club. Transport is provided from Berkhamsted, Tring and surrounding villages..
The Stroke Support group has been running, successfully, for the last eighteen years.
Strokes being the third largest killer in the country it also leaves survivors with many varied problems. We support them by holding a fortnightly club where they can share experiences in a "safe" group of people with similar problems.
They welcome new members with whom they aim to inspire confidence in the community.
Getting out amongst people again is a very important part of rehabilitation. They go on outings, pub lunches and places.
