Summary British Migraine Association.
Formerly the British Migraine Association, known as Migraine Action Association as of October 1997.
This Association promote and supports research into the causes and treatment of migraine and supports specialist migraine clinics. They also provide encouragement and information, via leaflets, newsletters and an information service, which aim to enable many migraine sufferers to control their attacks and live normal lives.
The Migraine Action Association aims to:
* Help you to pin-point the things which trigger your attacks;
* Help you to recognise your warning signs;
* Keep you informed of the latest drugs and treatments;
* Keep you in touch with other migraine sufferers;
* Keep you informed of the latest research;
* Raise awareness amongst the general public by informing newspapers, magazines, radio, and television of migraine developments and news;
* Do everything possible to foster better understanding of migraine and its problems.
