Aims:
* To provide outreach support to members and hold local events and presentations on all aspects of ME/CFS traditional and alternative therapists;
* To provide mutual support, friendship, information and practical help to ME sufferers and carers in the area;
* To raise awareness of the reality of ME and the difficulties experienced by sufferers and their carers;
* To alleviate the suffering and isolation caused by having ME. To obtain recognition so that sufferers will be treated seriously and given adequate help to recover and cope with their illness.

Office Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday - 10.00am-4.30pm
They have a group library which contains literature on the subject of ME and related topics, Which is available for loan to members. They have a list of ME practitioners both National Health Service and private along complementary.
Network ME activities:
1. Evening Meetings: Periodic - Events are announced on website, newsletter and mailshots and email, contact office for any queries;
2. Fundraising Events: They organise twice yearly quiz suppers and a yearly garden party with bring and buys and raffles and alternative therapists such as reiki, reflexology - available at garden party;
3.They have a quarterly newsletter with ME news, advice, news from other groups, recipes and jokes, all contributed by members;
4. They also have a Free Information Pack, which tells you all about their services - leaflets on ME, checked and endorsed by Dr Betty Dowsett their medical advisor;
5. Provides outreach service - visiting housebound ME sufferers;
6. Well-being class on Monday afternoon from 2.30pm-3.30pm followed by a drop-in 3.30pm-4.30pm.
The Management committee is elected yearly and is made up of ME sufferers and carers. The committee overseas the workings of the group, the co-ordinator's work and fundraising activities.
We also now provide information leaflets, translated into 8 different languages, available to sufferers, carers, GPs and clinics. Please contact the office for more information.
