Terrence Higgins Trust: THT Direct

THT Direct provides information and advice around HIV and sexual health. It offers emotional support to people who want to talk through any concerns or questions they might have about HIV and other sexual health issues, whether they are infected or concerned.

Advisors can offer information, publications and advice, referral to generalist advice on a variety of areas such as legal issues, welfare benefits, or immigration and signposting to relevant services both within the THT and through other organisations.

THT Direct can be accessed by telephone, email or letter, but there is also a large amount of information available via the website.


The THT Direct Helpline is open:
Monday to Friday 10.00am-10.00pm;
Weekends 12 noon-6.00pm.

Outside opening hours and when all of the team are busy, a menu is available to the caller which provides:
* information on our services and how to access them;
* a message leaving service for people who want to volunteer, callers seeking Living Wills and clients who would like to be called back in a language other than English.
