The club meets on the last Friday of the month at 7.30pm at Harefield Hospital League of Friends Pavilion.
The club aims to provide an informal way of staying in contact with other people who have had, or are having, the same experiences as themselves and an enjoyable way of staying in touch with Harefield Hospital without whose help, skills and loving care many of us would not be here today.
Another aim of the club is to support the wards of Harefield Hospital by raising funds in a variety of ways including collections, raffles, donations, etc. The funds raised are used to provide much needed items on the wards that are hard for the staff to obtain through the hospital management budget, ie televisions, headphones, special support aids and many other items including clinical equipment.
The Re-Beat Club welcomes any patients or former patients of heart surgery, other procedures or anyone with a heart-related problem who would like to speak to someone in the same situation to gain confidence and comfort.
The club organizes a programme of speakers and events throughout the year and also raises funds for equipment for patients and staff of Harefield hospital. It also distributes a monthly newsletter to all members.
If you have a problem with transport, please don't hesitate to call.
