The NSE is a registered charity which specialises in medical research and the provision of care, treatment, training and information for people with epilepsy, their families, carers and professionals.

The NSE runs the Epilepsy Helpline on 01494 601400, Mondays to Fridays, 10.00am-4.00pm; and provides a wide range of leaflets and factsheets on epilepsy.

They participate in an annual event, Epilepsy Week, which aims to raise awareness of epilepsy in the community and to provide information on where help is generally available.
