beat is a national charity providing information, help and support for people affected by eating disorders and, in particular, anorexia and bulimia nervosa.

beat offers a range of services which include:

* Telephone helplines.
* UK wide network of self-help and support groups and postal contacts.
* Comprehensive range of information including leaflets for young people.

* List of treatments available around the country.
* Training and publications to help professionals understand eating disorders.
* Guidelines on Service Specifications for the treatment of anorexia and bulimia nervosa and binge eating.

* Annual conference for members.
* 1-2-1 service for young people.
