DrugScope

Drugscope is one of the UK's leading independent centres of expertise on drugs.

Drugscope's aims are to:
* inform policy development
* reduce drug-related risk
* provide quality drug information
* promote effective responses to drug taking
* undertake research at local, national and international levels
* advise on policy making
* encourage informed debate
* speak up for their member organisations who are out working at ground level.

The drugscope website gives access to a wide range of information including a drugs encyclopaedia and a good practice and research section with many online publications. It also enables searching of the library, treatment service and training databases.

Information Service

The Information Service, staffed by qualified professionals, answers thousands of enquiries a year from a wide range of people on drug misuse issues. These include drug workers, students and those involved in education, housing, criminal justice and healthcare services, as well as the general public and drug users.
