Brainwave

Brainwave provides mainstream therapy aimed at achieving as much independence as possible for children with developmental delay, brain injuries and genetic conditions who are aged between 6 months and 12 years.

The physical and cognitive programme is taught to parents by therapists so the exercises can be carried out daily with their child in the comfort of the family home. Equipment is supplied immediately following the Initial Assessment visit and Reassessments take place every four to six months.

Families continue to have direct contact with the therapy team and Regional Family Co-ordinators provide local support, family fun events and actively seek out useful information for parents. Families may self refer directly.
