The Dr Hadwen Trust is a special charity which funds medical research without animal experiments.

Research funded by the Dr Hadwen Trust has advanced the understanding of cancer, heart disease, lung disease, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, diabetes, meningitis, cataracts and many other health problems - without causing a single animal to suffer. The Dr Hadwen Trust's research programme thus benefits both people and animals.

Sadly, the same is not true for most scientific experiments, which cause 3 million innocent animals to die in British laboratories each year. Results from our research projects are published in leading journals and influence scientists worldwide. Our grants also encourage young scientists to make their career in non-animal research.

Donations and bequests are urgently needed.

Membership is worldwide and details plus information pack are available on request.

A catalogue containing details of cruelty-free and ethical mail order goods ie vegan chocolates, toiletries etc along with an annual review and leaflets are also available.

Publications: Alternative News, Mail order catalogue, Annual Review and numerous leaflets. Also e-news and science e-bulletin by email.
