Cheshunt/Waltham Cross Community Mental Health Team provides care to people aged 18-65 who are currently experiencing mental health problems within the community.
It aims to provide a wide range of community services to the local population enabling those with mental health problems to remain within the community. It provides support to both service users as well as carers enabling people to become as independent as possible whilst managing their mental health.
The CMHT provides the following services:
* Duty mental health assessments;
* Community mental health nurse assessments/treatments;
* Social care assessments/treatment;
* Consultant psychiatrist out patient clinics;
* Emergency home visits;
* Clozaril clinic;
* In patient admission via Barnet Enfield & Haringay Mental Health NHS Trust (Suffolk Ward);
* Post natal depression support group;
* Psychological therapies;
* Occupational therapy assessment/treatment;
* Mental health act assessments;
* Assertive outreach service (pending);
* Crisis assessment and treatment team;
* Community support team access.
Opening Hours:
Monday to Thursday 9.00am-5.15pm.
Friday 9.00am-4.30pm.
