Lea and Ouse Valleys Safety Association, The

Membership is drawn from companies and individuals employed in both community and occupational health and safety. The Associations provides opportunity for members to meet in an informal friendly atmosphere to gain knowledge and help one another in work related problems associated with fire, health, safety, security and the environment.

The association is in close contact with the Health and Safety Executive and the local Fire Authority. An HSE inspector is often present to advise on legislation and other matters.

Annual Subscription is £45 per company and £40.00 for individuals (2008). New members always welcome.

Meetings are held locally, with a speaker, usually 2nd Thursday of the month at 2.00pm. Members are advised of meetings by the Newsletter (LOVSACHAT) or through the program page of the Associations website.

The association is affiliated to RoSPA, the British Safety Council and is a member of Safety Groups UK.
