Vegfam, established 1963, raises funds for (vegan) overseas famine-relief projects.

Helping people to help themselves and others through sustainable and environmentally aware plant based projects: vegetable production, fruit and nut tree planting, provision of irrigation and water wells. Emergency food distribution in times of crisis.

Beneficiaries are those who are suffering from: famine, cyclones, drought, earthquakes, disease, natural and human-made disasters and war. Helping people who are often out of the reach of the major charities.

Vegfam funded projects have benefited: flood/earthquake survivors (including Tsunami), HIV/AIDS orphans, homeless people, marginalised communities, schools/colleges, tribal people and villagers.

Vegfam is a volunteer led charity with small administration costs - 91% of general funds finance projects which alleviate hunger, malnutrition and starvation.

All donations are greatly appreciated.
