They offer psychotherapy and counselling to young adults, adults and couples as well as a specialist service to anyone affected by adoption, and clinical supervision to counselling and psychotherapy practitioners.

Psychotherapy may be an option for people who have come to realise they have a significant issue to deal with. You may have a clear sense of what is going on or you may be confused and unclear about this. Either way, there is likely to be a sense that something is not right and that a concerted effort is likely to be needed to bring about change.

Clinical Supervision for new and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists.

Post-Adoption Counselling is available for anyone affected by the adoption experience, people who were adopted, adoptive parents as well as birth parents. This may include issues about seeking contact with birth parents or with children given up for adoption. Registered with Adoption Support Agency and as such is qualifed and entitled to work woth post-adoption issues.

Time limited therapy is exploratory. This may be sufficient to resolve the presenting issue or help to clarify the issues involved and provide time to consider future possibilities.

Anna Wanless is registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) as an Integrated Psychotherapist. She practices individual psychotherapy in Berkhamsted and supervises counsellors and psychotherapists in private and agency settings. She teaches at the University of Hertfordshire on both the Introduction and Diploma courses in counselling.

Peter Wanless is a UKCP registered Integrated Psychotherapist and a Senior Registered Practitioner of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). He is a member of the Faculty of Health Care Counsellors and Psychotherapists, a division of the BACP which represents counsellors and psychotherapists working within the NHS. He has supervised counselling services in the voluntary sector and in the NHS.
