Peter Watson, Counsellor (Letchworth)

* Venue for sessions:
Dedicated counselling room at the above address, with pleasant and relaxing garden surroundings. Home visits possible, if client is housebound in SG6 1EJ area.

* Session times:
Can offer a meeting whenever best suits each client, and a first meeting very soon after the client's initial call.

* Costs:
Sole client is £40 a session (generally one and half hours first meeting and one to one and half hours thereafter).
Two clients (eg. couple) = £55 (assuming both with incomes - if not, then as might be agreed).

An individually structured counselling service, offered with no prejudgements as to what might be most suitable for each client or couple. Peter Watson draws on 20 years' therapeutic experience as counsellor, supervisor of other counsellors, tutor on college counselling courses, and facilitator to groups and individuals seeking to establish and maintain beneficial change.

Initial contact conversation is the start of agreeing a way in which he may best help. He is happy to give a reasonable amount of time and focus on the phone, to see if he can help and for prospective clients to gain a sense of Peter Watson as a possible counsellor they might engage. The first face-to-face meeting quickly consolidates client motivation and effectiveness. He aims at fewest meetings possible, helping clients here and now to be creative in gaining solutions, alternatives, fulfilments and, often, good feeling from developing communication and expressiveness in the counselling room and out into life and the world beyond.
