Relate is a federation of local charities offering support in all aspects of relationships. The main public services available from Relate Watford & Three Rivers are relationship/couple counselling, family counselling and sex therapy.

Counselling is available Monday to Friday in the day time and evenings and Saturday mornings.

The Relate Centre is based in the Watford Advice Centre, where most sessions are held. Relationship/couple counselling is also available in Bushey and Rickmansworth.

All new clients are offered a one hour meeting with a counsellor, usually within two weeks of contact. This appointment gives clients a chance to talk through their concerns with a trained counsellor, to help them consider how they wish to go forward.

Relate offers a service for people with sexual difficulties. The therapists are experienced counsellors who have received specialist training.

Family Counselling: A team of Relate family counsellors offer prompt appointments to any combination of family members who are experiencing difficulties whether with children or other adult members of the family.

Relate relies on payments from clients to keep the service open to everyone and asks clients to pay for the service according to their income. However, family counselling is currently free to families with children aged 0-19 years, although donations are welcome.

Accessibility: Premises in Watford and Rickmansworth are wheelchair accessible.
