Department of Sexual Health (St Albans and Hemel Hempstead Hospitals)

The Waverley Wing Clinic offers a confidential, free and daily service for information and advice concerning sexual health, safer sex and related issues.

All treatments are free and confidential, and aim for the early diagnosis and treatment of Sexually Transmitted Infections.

Tests are offered to screen for infections that affect the genital area and blood. There is a specific HIV blood testing clinic that is available with an appointment only on Tuesday mornings with the results in the evening.

Clinic times:
* Mondays:
- 8.30am-9.00am: Asymptomatic by appointments;
- 9.30am-11.30am: Male and Female Clinic. Walk-in.

* Tuesdays:
- 9.30am-11.30am: Male and Female Clinic. Walk-in;
- 10.00am-10.45am: Same day HIV testing appointments;
- 1.30pm-4.30pm: Male and Female appointments only;
- 1.30pm-3.00pm: Asymptomatic by appointments;
- 4.00pm-6.30pm: Young Peoples awareness walk-in clinic;
- 7.00pm-9.30pm: Male clinic by appointment.

* Wednesdays:
- 8.30am-9.00am: Asymptomatic by appointments;
- 9.30am-11.30am: Male and Female appointments;
- 2.00pm-3.30pm: Asymptomatic by appointments;
- 2.00pm-4.00pm: PID Clinic appointments;
- 2.00pm-4.00pm: Male and Female appointments.

* Thursdays:
- 9.30am-11.30am - Male and Female Clinic. Walk-in;
- 1.30pm-3.30pm: Asymptomatic by appointments;
- 2.00pm-6.30pm - Male and Female Clinic. Appointment only;

* Fridays:
- 8.30am-9.00am - Asymptomatic by appointments;
- 9.30am-11.30am: Male and Female walk-in.
