Davidson Rogers Opticians (Cheshunt)

The practice at Stockwell Lodge in Flamstead End was taken over by Murray Davidson and Mike Rogers in March 1995. Originally known as Specs Direct, it was changed to Davidson Rogers to reflect the more personal nature of the business provided by the two owners.

Because of it's expertise Davidson Rogers have been nominated a VARILUX specialist practice as well as an ACUVUE centre of Excellence. A large proportion of the patients are children which is apparent by the amount of children's pictures on display. The practice is located very near to three schools so it is extremely convenient for appointments.

There are more than 100 children's frame styles in stock and many are free of charge. There is also a 30% discount off any frame given to students holding NHS exemption.

Having been recently re-fitted there is the room to display nearly 1000 frames. The range encompasses designer frames such as French Connection, Burberry, D&G, FCUK and Morgan, as well as quality unbranded and budget styles.

As an independent practice Davidson Rogers can compete in all markets. Due to deals made with local laboratories it is very rare that the practice cannot match the price of other outlets.
