Small community hospital.

Minor to medium surgical operations, which are not of an emergency nature, are undertaken. Regular clinics take place here, and there is a busy physiotherapy department.

There is no A & E casualty department at this hospital.

Community Nursing services also on site:

* District Nurses;
* 24 Bed Unit for the elderly mentally frail (Stewarts);
* Hertfordshire Partnership PCT.

Hearing aids services - batteries only, available at Reception.
