St Clare Hospice

St Clare is a non-religious charity which cares for people and their families who are affected by life-threatening illnesses such as cancer. The Hospice Centre at Hastingwood is well sited for easy access, as it is adjacent to junction 7 at the M11/A414 interchange.

They serve the area of East Herts and West Essex with a wide range of Hospice care services which are free of charge. These include in-patient and day care, equipment loans, bereavement counselling and a 24 hour advice line. Their team of specially trained doctors, nurses, counsellors and volunteers work closely with medical professionals in the community to ensure that patients receive the best care both in the Hospice and at home.
