Hospice of St Francis (Berkhamsted)

The Hospice of St Francis aims to enhance the quality of life of those suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. This includes in-patients, home care, daycare and respite care.

It does this by:
* providing patients and their families with a high standard of palliative care and respite care;
* providing a comprehensive family support service;
* commitment to the education and training of health care professionals in all aspects of palliative care.

The area served by the hospice is West Hertfordshire (Abbots Langley, Kings Langley, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Tring) and the Chiltern District of Buckinghamshire (Chesham, Amersham, etc.)
