Peace Hospice, The

The Peace Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people from across South West Hertfordshire with cancer or other terminal illness. Our specialist team of doctors, nurses and therapists use their expertise to provide holistic care for our patients with emotional, social and spiritual support as well as dealing with physical symptoms.

Our services include a 12 bed inpatient unit, day care and outpatient clinics and a Hospice at Home service. We also support families and friends who have been bereaved right across South West Hertfordshire.

All of our care is given free of charge but it costs over £3 million to run the Hospice each year. Of this we receive only 20% from the Health Service with the lions share from donations by the community.
