Hertsmere Crossroads - Caring for Carers

This is a charity providing trained carer support workers to work in the community, in people's own homes. The C.S.W's aim to take on the role of the carer, thereby giving the carer a much-needed break.

They care for the elderly, children, and people with learning disabilities. They also visit people living alone if they are vulnerable.

They offer a full range of services including:
* Personal care washing, dressing, shaving and toiletting.
* Mobility and transfer using installed specialised equipment.
* Accompanied walks.
* Shopping.
* Preparation of light meals.
* Assistance with eating and drinking.
* Night sitting service.

The office is open for enquiries from 9.30am-5.30pm on weekdays. Please contact for further information.
