Shiatsu is a traditional healing art, based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. It can help with a wide variety of conditions - from specific injuries to more general symptoms of ill health. Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing experience and regular Shiatsu sessions help to prevent the build up of stress in our daily lives.
A session lasts approx. one hour and takes place fully clothed and on a futon. However, a chair can be used if the client is unable to lie down. The treatment consists of gentle acupressure, stretches and joint rotations to relieve tensions and stresses in both body and mind.
