Sandra Beaman - BSc Nutritional Medicine, Dip Iridology, BANT.
Poor nutrition and depletion of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids initially result in minor ailments. Unfortunately, these minor ailments over the course of time become major illnesses such as osteoporosis, depression, diabetes, heart disease, cancer and many other degenerative diseases.
A nutritional therapist may need to be consulted to help rebalance the deficits of nutrients. Individuals need different requirements as we all have different and unique genetic make-up. Our medical history, environment, our gender and ages, as well as past and present dietary patterns are all unique and make our requirements different.
Health issues which can be addressed are:
Acne, ADHD, allergies, arthritis, asthma, bloating, blood sugar imbalances, candidiasis, constipation, depression, diabetes type I and type II, eating disorders, eczema, endometriosis, fatigue, indigestion, irritable bowl syndrome, menopause, migraine, osteoporosis, PMT, pregnancy, psoriasis, sports nutrition, stress, thrush, weight management and many other conditions.
The initial consultation will take approximately one to one and a half hours. The patient will be asked to sign a consent form. All consultations are completely confidential. The patient will be questioned about current health, diet and lifestyles. Explanations will be given on how their current lifestyle impacts upon their general health and well-being.
A nutritional programme will be recommended that is not only suitable for the patient by also palatable and enjoyable.
Concession rates for over 60s are available. Will also travel to see patient at the normal fee.
