The aim of the Essex Healers Association is to bring comfort to those in need of healing. They do not claim to cure any illness, but seek to help on a body, mind and emotional level.
EHA members give their services voluntarily to heal and counsel people of all denominations. Home or hospital healing is available by contacting the Registrar. They believe that spiritual healing and medical practice are complementary to each other and they aim to work with medical practitioners to help all patients.
All EHA members are insured under Healer Practitioner Association International and they are encouraged to train as healers' counsellors. Probationary healers are trained for one year under the supervision of a certified healer, working to the Code of Conduct and Practice of the EHA.
