Josie is experienced in working with all types of people with all sorts of problems. She is registered with EMDR UK and Ireland as a consultant working with severe trauma. As part of her work with children she is involved in providing a Protective Behaviours Programme for children between the ages of 5 and 13 who have been victims or witnesses of domestic violence in East Herts. This service is provided by Children, Schools and the East Herts and Broxbourne Violence Forum.
Work undertaken includes group, couple and individual counselling in the following areas: Stress and post traumatic stress disorder, trauma, depression, sexual abuse, domestic violence, anger management, eating disorders, bullying, childhood stress, drug and substance abuse and couple counselling.

Josie also offers stop smoking sessions in one hour.
Josie abides by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) Code of Ethics and has regular supervision for her work. She is a member of the British Pschological Society, The National School for Hypnosis and Psychotherapy and the Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Association of England and Ireland
