Acupuncture Clinic (Borehamwood)

Established in 1997 by Zadi Hasan, a registered acupuncturist since 1995. Member of the British Acupuncture Council (M.B.Ac.C), and the NHS Directory of Acupuncturists.

Wellwood House is a complementary practice working alongside the doctor’s surgery next door at Fairbrook Medical Centre.

Acupuncture has it’s origins in China several thousand years ago. In practice nowadays worldwide, it is a recognised form of medicine and can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including:

Back ache; pain management; sports injuries; arthritis and joint pain, re-occurring pain; addictive and obsessive traits; menstrual disorders; PMS, facial neuralgia and regeneration, migraines and headaches, fertility and miscarriages, pregnancy, morning sickness, induction, depression and anxiety, long term illness and post operative recovery.

Acupuncture treatment focuses not only on specific symptoms, but often includes improvements in a patient’s general health, eg. Sleep, appetite, overall mental & emotional health and outlook.

Costs: Initial consultation (approx 2 hours) £70.00; subsequent treatments £40.00, discounted rates for senior citizens.

Opening hours:
3-4 days per week, morning till evening.
