Naturopathic medicine aims to remove the causes of ill health whether structural, nutritional or psychological. Treatment needs are determined by a careful clinical assessment supported, where necessary, by a range of functional laboratory tests, some of which are not available on the NHS.

Treatment options include naturopathy, especially dietary and nutritional advice, home hydrotherapy, and special soft-tissue massage techniques; osteopathy, including cranial osteopathy; acupuncture; herbal and homoeopathic medicine. The dispensary has a wide range of herbal and homoeopathic medicines and nutritional supplements to cater for individual prescriptions.

The Clinic has provided complementary healthcare to the local community for nearly 50 years. Fully qualified male and female practitioners can provide an integrated complementary medicine service to help in the treatment of a wide range of disorders including allergies, arthritis, back pain and other musculoskeletal problems, gastrointestinal disorders, skin problems, gynaecological disorders, headaches, chronic fatigue, and anxiety states.
