Body Stress Release is a safe, non-invasive, complementary health technique assisting the body to release stored tension.

Many mysterious problems can be traced to a logical cause – body stress.

What is body stress? A term that refers to any tension that has become locked into the physical body due to stress overload.

Stress overload occurs when stress whether mechanical, mental/emotional or chemical in nature, goes beyond a person’s ability to adapt to it successfully.

This may affect an individual’s quality of life or sporting abilities and cause intense or mild persistent pain, stiffness, distorted posture, joint degeneration, numbness, inflexibility, burning, fatigue and discomfort throughout the entire body.

With the person fully clothed and lying down, a series of light pressure tests are performed to locate the exact sites of stored tension. A gentle manual stimulus is then applied to encourage the body to release this tension and assist the body in its innate ability to heal and maintain itself.

A detailed case history helps reveal the origins of problems experienced and preventative measures are discussed to avoid further accumulation of stress.

People often ask what BSR is like and whether it compares to any other technique that they may have tried. To understand Body Stress Release, it needs to be experienced. It is completely unique. It does not include massage, manipulation, and the use of any machines or medication. Clients are amazed that such a gentle technique can be so effective.

Clients have reported improved health relating to a wide range of conditions. It has been known to improve certain sporting performances and offers a safe, sensible and enjoyable way of preventing and managing pain and stress. Practised globally, it is becoming popular in the UK.

A caring and professional service practised within a quiet, relaxing environment.
